1. Lời giới thiệu
Thưa các bạn, sau một thời gian khá dài chờ đợi, hôm nay Vi-Chat chính thức ra mắt bản thử nghiệm mới 2.1. Đây là phiên bản được xây dựng trên công nghệ hoàn toàn mới và được tích hợp những tính năng nổi trội:
- Lưu message
- Hiển thị Avatar
- Tốc độ đăng nhập đã được cải thiện.
- Không phân biệt QWERTY hay 1/2 QWERTY.
- tương thích với các loại bàn phím (tiếng Đức, tiếng Anh,.....)
- Tùy chọn phím tắt
- Giao diện được nâng cấp tiện dụng hơn
cũng như những phiên bản trước, phiên bản này cũng cho phép bạn sử dụng miễn phí và chỉ thương mại một số tính năng, các serial trước đây bạn đã mua hoàn toàn sử dụng được trong bản 2.1 này. Và đặc biệt tuy tích hợp thêm nhiều chức năng nhưng giá thành của Vi-Chat 2.1 lại chỉ bằng 80% so với bản cũ. Giá chính thức cho bản 2.1 là 48.000VND/serial
Các tính năng của bản thương mại gồm:
- Dò nick invisible
- Cho phép chat với nhiều nick cùng lúc (chat nhóm)
- Lưu message
2. Download Vi-Chat 2.1.12
Bản 2.1.12, sẽ không còn phân biệt bàn phím full qwerty hay 1/2 qwerty nữa mà chỉ có 1 bản duy nhất.

YouVersion is an online bible community where people can collaborate and share with other members. They recently created a reader for the Blackberry for their users. I have to say this is one of the best readers anyone has created for the Blackberry. It's light, simple and even has a community sections where you can read people's contribution.
YouVerion's Blackberry bible reader also contains several English bible translations and even several non English translations. Youversion is Free as it should and I highy recommend it to anyone wanting to catch up with their reading.

I've been using OS 4.3 with my blackberry 8320 for quite some time, I but recently upgraded to 4.5 last week. I just really wanted to use HTML on my email, now with the update I can view tables, fonts and text formatting.
Along with the upgrade, you also get Documents to GO, which enables you to edit word and power point files. You can also do an update inside "Documents to Go" and get Sheet to Go for free, which enables you to edit excel files.
I think making the update to Blackberry OS 4.5 is really worth it and I'm glad RIM is making a strong commitment to improve the Blackberry experience.

Blackberry Reset Utility Freeware

But I do believe on doing an old fashion soft reset to get it back to its natural speed. There are two ways to do a soft reset, a battery pull ( realy hard if your using a protective case ) and using CTRL+ALT(use right button)+DEL. Sadly ctrl+alt=del doesn't work on the blackberry pearl.
Here's a free reset software you can use on your blackberry regardless on what version you are using.
QuickPull
Simply run Quickpull and will prompt you to let it do a soft reset.

Blackberry Language Translator Freeware

It was awkward carrying it around and have to say really geeky. All I really want is a good anguage translator for my Blackberry. Finding a good one is really hard and they often don't translate properly. But things are changing and I'm happy to say I found one translator software worth installing.
BBtran
BBtrans is app that allows you to translate sentences to different major languages. It uses different online translation services such a Systrans ( Babel Fish ), Google Translate and Freetranslation. I prefer using Systran or Google Translate as the source of the translation.
Overall bbtrans is going to be a very useful app for travelers who don't want to carry anything bulky.

Navita - Translator
Navita translator is a free five language translator for your Blackberry. Its similar to bbtrans also made with a very simple interface. I don't know what translation engine they are using but it seems to be okay and fast enough. My officemate claims the German translation works well and is usable. I do wish the Spanish translation could have been better but Navita does work fast enough to help you out when you need to communicate with someone right away.

Blackberry Storm Utilities Freeware

Talk lock locks up your screen when you make a call and unlocks when your call is finish. This prevents you from accidentally touching the screen and opening something while your making a call. Talklock adds a much needed feature for your Blackberry Storm and also has a manual unlock by using the special slid unlock button. You can change the background image by changing the talklock image in your phone.

Talk lock is my first post on a free Blackberry Storm software. I'm happy to say there's going to be a lot more on 2009.
Blackberry Currency Converter Freeware

I totally missed posting Oanda mobile currency converter in my list of freeware. It should have been there before since its one of my favorite currency converter. The software is very light. As soon as I had it installed, I now had neatly organized list of world currencies and a special section for recently used currencies. When it retrieves the rates I wanted, it display's the information almost instantly. I think the developers have done a great job with fxconverter, its simple and gets the job done.
